| MACHINIMA PRODUCTION PARTNER: MAMACHINIMA
Recognized by the Cannes Film Festival, and other famous international film events, machinima is gaining recognition as an inexpensive alternative to higher-end pre-rendered animation or live action movies.
Chantal Harvey, owner of MaMachinima based in the Netherlands, always had an interest in art and studied art at the Academy of Arts in Maastricht, until she purchased a Hi8 video camera and began filming everything in sight. In 1995, She joined Pizza TV, an art project featuring legendary 24-hour broadcasts.
After continuing her education to hone her editing skills at Open University in Rotterdam, she began work for a television station in the south of Holland as camera operator and editor. She then became head of the station and undertook additional education in Belgium to fine-tune her skills as a producer. Chantal currently works as a freelance producer for Dutch Television, where she specializes in news shorts, video clips, commercials and documentary film productions.
In 2007, she discovered machinima and since that time has created over 100 machinima productions through the 3D platform Second Life®. Some of her machinima projects have appeared in feature films and broadcast as television commercials. Through MaMachinima, Chantal Harvey works closely with the collaborative team at Pulse Point Marketing, LLC to produce projects for our clients.
